ALA’s Permanent Supportive Housing units are filled through the Coordinated Entry System. If you are currently experiencing homelessness in Los Angeles, you can access the Coordinated Entry System (CES). The access points to sign up may be found here:

1. Contact a CES access point: There are numerous access points throughout Los Angeles County where you can connect with the CES. These include community-based organizations, shelters, and outreach teams .
2. Complete an assessment: When you connect with a CES access point, you will be asked to complete a standardized assessment. This assessment helps determine your level of need and eligibility for various housing and support services .
3. Get connected to resources: Based on your assessment, the CES will work to connect you with appropriate housing resources and support services as efficiently and equitably as possible.

If you need immediate assistance or are unsure where to start, you can also call 211 in Los Angeles County. This hotline can provide information about local CES access points and other available resources for individuals experiencing homelessness.

About ALA’s Permanent Supportive Housing Program:

For seniors experiencing chronic homelessness, ALA’s Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) provides housing staffed with on-site social workers to ensure they remain in safe and supportive housing. The primary goal of the Permanent Supportive Housing program is to meet the individual needs of clients in achieving and maintaining health, mental health, and housing stability.

ALA’s new permanent supportive housing community of 45 units for Veterans is currently in pre-development in Santa Fe Springs.
